Dave E.
Private tutor in Chelmsford, MA
Education
I received my BS in Physics from Gordon College where I played varsity soccer and held student government positions. After a few years and while working professionally, I decided to attend graduate school during the evenings and received my Masters in Engineering Management from Northeastern University. Recently I was active in the Gordon College career center and Alumni Board serving as President for several years.
Experience
Promoting an enjoyment for math, science and technology in Middle and High school students is one of my passions. So after working as a systems, software, and test engineer for many years and now enjoying retirement, I have the time to pursue this. I have previously volunteered to tutor disadvantaged youth as well as high school friends who have requested my support as they struggled with their classwork. Completing homework, passing tests, and achieving great grades is important for success. Overcoming these challenges builds confidence and character which creates strong, independent people.
